Peer Review Policy

The Journal of Integrated Research (JIR) follows a rigorous double-blind peer review process to ensure the quality, originality, and academic integrity of all submitted manuscripts. This process helps maintain high standards of scholarly publishing and ensures that every article meets the journal’s criteria for scientific validity and relevance.

Key Points of the Peer Review Process:

  1. Initial Editorial Screening: All submitted manuscripts are first evaluated by the editorial team for relevance, originality, and adherence to the journal’s formatting and submission guidelines.

  2. Double-Blind Review: Manuscripts that pass the initial screening are sent to at least two independent expert reviewers in the relevant field. Both the reviewers and authors remain anonymous during the review process to ensure impartiality.

  3. Reviewer Recommendations: Based on the reviewers’ evaluations, the editor makes a decision:

    • Accept without revision

    • Accept with minor revisions

    • Revise and resubmit (major revisions)

    • Reject

  4. Final Editorial Decision: The editor considers the reviewers’ comments and recommendations before making the final publication decision.

  5. Ethical Standards: Reviewers are expected to maintain confidentiality, avoid conflicts of interest, and provide constructive feedback.

The peer review process at JIR is designed to support authors in improving their work while maintaining the highest standards of academic integrity. Authors are encouraged to respond to reviewer comments carefully and resubmit revisions promptly.
